A sweet smelling cologne for men?

I find it hard to test out different colognes at shops because they all smell so strong when you initially spray them.. so I've been having trouble deciding which ones to buy. I received Boss Orange for Men (the one in the spherical container) for my birthday and really liked the smell. I also bought Hugo Boss Selection the other day but I don't like it as much, because it smells less sweet. Otherwise, though, I don't know much about men's fragrances.. Could anyone recommend a cologne for me? I'm looking for something that smells sweet (not necessarily similar to the Orange one though) but still manly.. and slightly stronger than Orange (as it's an eau de toilette) - so more like an actual cologne. Thanks!
