How do you get water out from your ear?

I just did a flip turn and a huge amount of water went in, and I can't get it out. I've tried hopping on one foot and tilting my head to the right (its my right ear full of water) and it doesn't work. I used a cotton swab, didn't work either. Now I'm chewing gum. Doesn't work either. Once I had water stuck in my ear for two days, and I heard you could get an infection :p
