What should cops do about barefoot customers in restaurants?

I went into a coffee shop (I-Hop) barefoot today for breakfast. When I was eating my pancakes, 2 cops sat down at the table next to me. I know there's no law against being barefoot in a restaurant, but I was scared the cops would hassle me. Even though I know they saw I was barefoot, they didn't say anything to me. If you were a cop (or if you are a cop) would you have said something to me?
