Ways to decrease the pain of an ear infection on an airplane?

I have unfortunately got an ear infection and a virus that includes a sore throat, blocked nose and headaches. I'm flying tomorrow from Sydney to Los Angeles, and since it's such a long flight, I was wondering what I can do to lessen the pain of the infection whilst flying. I'm currently taking antibiotics so it needs to be medicine that doesn't interfere with that. Thanks!
