How can I tell if a word is masculine or feminine in French? (I think I have some parts down)?

feminine words tend to end in e also by looking at the article in front of the word (le, la, les, de, du, un, une, etc.) it will also tell you the difference also enfants wouldnt be either .. more like both since its plural the article would be les enfants (the children) hope it helped :)
