Do the additional deodorant, and aftershave make fragrance overpowering on men?

i was thinking of getting my bf a fragrance set of nautica voyage (his favorite summer scent), that has the eau de toilette, aftershave, and deodorant, but if he uses all three at once, won't he smell overpowering?
